Reuben Tour of Columbus – Spinelli’s (Victorian Village)

After a long layoff, the tour is back in search of the best reuben in Columbus. The Spinelli’s I visited is in Victoria Village off Neil Ave. in the Giant Eagle plaza.

The scorecard:
Corned beef – warm and juicy, moderate amount.*
Sauerkraut – tasty.
Swiss cheese – thick slice, nice!
Thousand Island – on the sandwich, decent amount.
Rye Bread – good.*

Spinelli’s gets a 4.5 outta 5. My only complaints are small. First, the corned beef was unevenly distributed. About 75% of the meat was on one corner of the sandwich. Second, the rye bread appeared to be mostly seedless. It’s not a deal breaker, but I’m old school and prefer seeded rye bread.
